Printing technique:
Risography is a unique technique combining screen printing (serigraphy) and photocopying elements. It was originally developed in Japan in the 1980s as a cost-effective method for producing high-volume prints, but it has since gained popularity in the art and design world for its distinctive aesthetic. Indeed, this technique is widely used for creating zines, posters, art prints, and limited edition books, offering a distinctive, textured aesthetic that stands out from standard digital printing.

The Artist: 
Margarida Gonçalves P. Silva, known as @margazida, is a Portuguese visual artist whose work spans illustration, printmaking, and collaborative art projects.
