Printing technique: 
DFT (Direct to Film Transfer) printing is a digital method for fabric decoration. It prints designs on a special PET film using DTF inks. An adhesive powder is applied and cured on the film. The design is then heat-pressed onto fabric. DFT works on cotton, polyester, blends, and more. It creates vibrant, detailed, and also durable prints. No fabric pretreatment is needed. Ideal for custom apparel and small runs.

The artist:
Julia da Costa is a French-born visual artist, illustrator, and psychologist. Since 2016, she has developed a diverse artistic portfolio centered on themes like feminism, identity, and mental health. Her work often combines personal and non-personal experiences with social commentary, presented through illustrations and graphic storytelling. For example, her graphic novel Pompette addresses alcoholism through a blend of humor and vulnerability. Her artistic style frequently incorporates bold, stylized feminine characters and employs text elements that evoke posters, blending introspection with a touch of sarcasm.
